Gavita indoor grow lights can hang on a RoboStik as a fulcrum
First, the logistics: Hanging a Gavita indoor grow light on a LightRail light mover is super easy. And, there is more than one way to hang that on the light mover rail. A RoboStik can be used with the LightRail light mover, almost like a fulcrum. So, the weight is evened out the farther in or out on the RoboStik we go. In the photo to the right, simple rope ratchets are used and that’s without a RoboStik.
The other advantage of a RoboStik, aside from evening out weight, is that it allows us to move our indoor grow light 90 degrees from the direction of the grow light mover travel. And, that allows for a wider indoor grow light pattern as our grow lamp goes on the Rail. So, this grow equipment detail gives us that extra option for our grow light systems. Rope ratchets (see photo for hanging a light mover rail) have a self-leveling tendency. That’s in relation to the LightRail light mover, and minor indoor grow light leveling adjustments are easy enough.

With a grow light mover, we get closer (Inverse Square Law) for maximum grow lamp ppfd readings and PAR. That indoor plant light detail happens while the correct intensity of indoor plant light for maximum Leaf Area Index (L.A.I.) happens. It’s the only way to supercharge our grow light system, to fire the grow lamps in for that maximum grow equipment play. Yield takes off when the grow lamps are close, intense but intermittent. Even the best indoor grow lights, positioned multiple feet above the canopy are not living up to their potential. At five feet above the canopy, these grow light systems have lost 50% of their power, again to Inverse Square Law.
