Merchandise availability on our website is not guaranteed as it may be low in stock. If merchandise is not available by the time your order processes, we will notify you of this via e-mail. Shipping & Delivery
At this time, Gualala Robotics Inc. ships merchandise only to locations in the US and Canada and most European countries. For other international orders please contact us directly. Orders will ship FedEx, UPS or US Mail. All orders for new products ship in 1 to 2 days but refurbished items may require up to three (3) weeks depending on availability.
Taxes that appear on your online order are approximate. The actual taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes, and will be calculated when your order is shipped. Orders shipped in CO, will have all applicable local and state sales taxes added to your total order, and to your shipping charges where appropriate.
To be clear, the Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA), which was signed into law on October 21, 1998, does not, as some have asserted, preclude sales and use taxes on any and all commerce conducted over the Internet. State and local governments are allowed to impose sales and use taxes on all such electronic sales, provided that the tax (and its rate) are the same as that which would be imposed on the transactions if they were conducted in a more traditional manner, such as over the phone or through mail order.
The ITFA is intended to prevent any jurisdiction from imposing special taxes on Internet transactions, other than such taxes that a jurisdiction already has the ability to impose (e.g., sales tax; see below). The ITFA prevents the imposition of any such taxes through November 1, 2014 or beyond.
Currently, most e-commerce companies use the same taxation rules used by mail-order companies, which are based on constitutional guidelines for interstate commerce. Generally this means that states can only require companies to collect sales tax in states where they have business operations, and as a result, a company will not collect sales tax in states where they have no business operations. If someone were to order something from our website, that person would only be charged sales tax if he or she shipped his or her order to a state where Gualala Robotics Inc. has physical operations. Example: If a person shipped something to Arizona, Gualala Robotics Inc. would not be required to collect sales tax because it has no business operations in Arizona.
The ITFA also prohibits state and local governments from imposing taxes on Internet access charges, protects against the imposition of new tax liability for consumers and vendors involved in commercial transactions over the Internet, and creates a temporary commission to study taxation of Internet commerce and to report back to Congress in 18 months on whether the Internet ought to be taxed and, if so, how taxes can be applied without subjecting the Internet and electronic commerce to special, discriminatory, or multiple taxation.
In no event will Gualala Robotics Inc. be responsible for unauthorized return of products. Gualala Robotics Inc. reserves the right to accept returns subject to the terms specified in the limited warranty and this standard terms and conditions. Merchandise returned may be charged a restocking charge of 10%. Requests for credit returns will be accepted up to 30 days after purchase date. Goods returned for Buyer’s reason are subject to inspection and must be in good working condition, as new, and in original cartons. Original products carton should not be used as a shipping container. All product cartons should be over packed into a shipping box suitable for protecting the goods and product cartons from damage. Implied warranties, including those of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability (an unwritten warranty that the product is fit for ordinary use), are limited to Two(2) years from date of purchase. We will not pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of your Light Rail or property damage caused by your Light Rail or its failure to work, or any other incidental or consequential damages. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATIONS OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY ONE WE GIVE ON THE LIGHT RAIL SYSTEM, AND IT GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS. THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. THERE ARE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH YOU MAY HAVE WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. This warranty does not cover alterations, unauthorized repair, misuse, failure to follow instructions for installation, fire, flood, and acts of God. We do not warrant that your Light Rail system, or any part thereof, will be compatible with any other similar products.
Warranty Repair Service Procedures
YOU MUST OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER BY CALLING THE FACTORY AT 970-761-2596 OR YOUR SALES REPRESENTATIVE. You must send your dated sales receipt along with a detailed description of the failure which occurs, and the drive unit to GUALALA ROBOTICS INC., and you must call or email first to get a proper Repair Authorization Number along with instructions of where to send your Motor. You will ultimately include your name, address, telephone number, email and RA number that we provide. You must pay for the shipping to the factory. After repair or replacement of your drive unit, Gualala Robotics Inc. will ship it back to you at no charge.
Damage or Loss
Damaged or Lost merchandise must be reported within 5 business days of receiving merchandise. Damaged or Lost merchandise not reported within 5 business days is proof of your acceptance, that the merchandise was received and in acceptable condition. Report lost or damages to 970-761-2596.
